PowerSite123 Migration

PowerSite123 (formerly known as CharityFinders) will be upgrading our hosting environment -- most likely on or around the July 4th weekend.

Here’s how we hope this will benefit you and your website visitors:

1. More up time (our goal is 99.999% up time, which is at most 5 minutes of down time per year).
2. Faster response time.
3. Better PCI compliance (if you accept payments securely within your website).
4. Quicker resolution for certain types of issues.
5. Multiple backups, including off-site backups.
6. Better disaster recovery.
7. Easier system administration.

This should have little to no negative effect on you or your website, except that we’ll need to bring your site down for about 1-2 hours during the migration.  We will attempt to do this during an off-peak hour, such as at night on a holiday weekend.  During this brief time your website visitors will see a page asking them to return to the site in about an hour.
